MG Midget and Austin Healey Sprite thermostat blanking sleeve. The thermostat blanking sleeve is recommended when removing the thermostat. It ensures correct coolant circulation to the cylinder head to avoid overheating cylinders three and four. The bypass hose should be blanked off where fitted.
